Who I Am
I'm Brendan, founder of Photos From Ireland. For more than 15 years I've had the privilege of photographing families, couples and visitors from around the world as they explore one of Ireland's most beautiful and unspoilt regions.
Living in Inishowen, I know this coastline like home. From the iconic landmarks to the hidden beaches, quiet glens and forgotten tracks that rarely appear in guidebooks, I'll take you to places that most visitors would never discover on their own.
For me, this has never been just about taking photographs. It's about helping people slow down, enjoy the moment and experience the real Ireland. Whether you're celebrating a family holiday, reconnecting with your Irish roots or simply exploring this incredible country together, I want you to leave with memories that last a lifetime.
Many of the families and travellers I photograph arrive as clients and leave feeling like friends. That's something I'm incredibly proud of, and it's the reason I still love doing what I do every single day.

How long does a shoot take? Usually 1–2 hours but I can create custom bespoke sessions for you.
What should I wear? Whatever's comfortable — simple colours photograph best. If you can wear clothing that complements the natural Donegal landscape, that really works well.
Can I bring something personal? Always — a blanket, flowers, a keepsake, whatever belongs in your story.
How far ahead should I book? As early as you can, especially if you have a special date in mind, like an anniversary.
What should I bring on the day? Comfortable shoes and a waterproof jacket. We shoot rain or shine and most importantly a big smile and enjoy the experience.
