Let Me Show You My Donegal
My name is Brendan Diver. I am a professional photographer and lifelong Donegal resident.
I grew up here in Inishowen, surrounded by the landscapes, stories and traditions that make this part of Ireland so special.
I know the quiet corners, dramatic coastlines and historic places that do not always appear in the guidebooks. More importantly, I know the stories and local character that bring these places to life.
This is more than a sightseeing tour and more than a photoshoot.
It is time set aside to explore, listen, laugh and experience Donegal in a way that feels personal, unhurried and real.

Before your visit, I will take time to learn about you, the people travelling with you and what brought you to Ireland.
Your journey can be shaped around your family connection, interests, available time and the places you would most love to discover.
If you already know that your ancestors came from Donegal or Inishowen, please share whatever information you have. Although I do not provide genealogy research, those details may help me create a more meaningful experience for you.
As we travel, I will quietly photograph the genuine moments along the way. You can forget about awkward poses and forced smiles and simply enjoy being together while I capture the laughter, atmosphere and connection between you.

Step Into Ireland’s Celtic Past
If you wish, Celtic-inspired clothing can be included to create something even more atmospheric.
Against Donegal’s ancient stone, open landscapes and dramatic Atlantic light, the clothing can produce powerful photographs that feel as though you have stepped into another time.
This part of the experience is completely optional. Your journey can be created with or without Celtic styling.
An Experience Created Around You
This experience is for couples and families discovering their Irish roots, multigenerational families travelling together and members of the Irish diaspora returning to a place that has long been part of their family story.
It can also be created around an anniversary, birthday or special occasion—or simply for those who want to step away from the usual tourist trail and experience Donegal in a more personal way.
There is no standard itinerary or fixed public price because every journey begins with a different story.
The duration, locations, photography and Celtic styling can all be arranged around you. Once I understand what would make your visit special, I will prepare a clear personal quotation without obligation.
Experiences take place at carefully selected locations across the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Meeting arrangements will be confirmed personally before your visit. Locations, walking and activity levels can be adapted around your group and Donegal’s changing weather.

I do not provide genealogy research. However, if you already know about a family connection to Donegal or Inishowen, please share the details when making your enquiry.
